Prior to January 1, 2003 we were known as "THE RETIRED OFFICERS ASSOCIATION" or "TROA" since some of you may not recognize our new nationally chartered name. For more information on our parent national and state organizations please refer to our "USEFUL LINKS" section.

We invite you to join our Broward County chapter today! You don't have to be retired to join MOAA's ranks! Membership is open to active duty, retired, National Guard, reserve, former commissioned officers and warrant officers of the following uniformed services: Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, Public Health Service, and National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. Auxiliary memberships also are available for surviving spouses of deceased officers.

Currently we hold monthly social events at various establishments throughout Broward County (please see our "CALENDAR OF EVENTS" for more information) from September through May. We also conduct a monthly board of directors/business breakfast meeting on the second Saturday of these months at the Pompano Beach Elks Lodge at 9am. All members are encouraged to attend all of our events.
